Pricing and Payments

All payments are due the first lesson every month. Checks are to be made out to me, Sherry Fagan Martin.  You may mail your payment in within the first week of the month without penalty (received by the 9th). Your monthly payment will entitle you to one lesson a week.

Trial lessons:
30 minute is $20
60 minute is $40

*When the student desires to continue with lessons, the trial lesson amount is applied to the current monthly fee.

Regularly scheduled lessons:
30 minute lessons are $75 a month
60 minute lessons are $150 a month

Any additional lessons for monhtly students:
30 minutes is $18.75
60 minutes is $37.50

Note: If payment is not received by the 9th, it could result in losing your time slot and a $15 Late Charge will be added to that month’s fee.  Each additional day your payment is late, you will be charged $1.00 a day until payment is received.
In the event that a check is returned, there will be a $25 Returned Check fee added to that month’s fee.

Absences

Your monthly payment reserves a weekly time slot. It is a flat fee to reserve the student’s weekly time for lessons, whether you choose to attend or miss. Fees are charged by the month, and are not lowered nor refunded for missed lessons.  For months that contain an extra week, there is no additional charge.

Cancellations

If a student needs to cancel for whatever reason, they need to call at least 4 hours in advance to be able to reschedule that lesson (AKA On-Time cancellation). If the lesson is cancelled less than 4 hours before the scheduled lesson, it is considered a Late Cancel and the lesson is forfeited. The student has 30 days to schedule makeups for an On-Time cancellation. After the 30 days, they forfeit the lesson. Unfortunately, if a makeup lesson is cancelled, the lesson is forfeited as well. It is the responsibility of the student/parent to reschedule the lessons and to keep them.

If the teacher must cancel a lesson every attempt will be given to schedule a make up lesson.

Termination of Monthly Lessons

Two or more weeks notice is required if a student must end lessons.  No refunds will be given.
