Mrs. Sherry

Sherry Fagan Martin has taught for over 20 years. She wants her students to not only love what they do, but to also bless others with their talents.

She attended the University of Tampa where she received her Bachelor’s in Music Education and Arkansas State University where she completed course studies for her Masters in Music in Choral Conducting.

Mrs. Sherry sang with the New York Philharmonic in Carnegie Hall, the Arkansas State Symphony, and has performed various repertoire with the Delta Symphony.  She performed The National anthem on various occasions for The Devil Rays, The Race for Sight, St. Andrew’s Triathlon, The University of Tampa and the National Volleyball League.  She was invited to sing in Wales, Ecuador and Ireland as well as on WB and the Disney Radio Station. Mrs. Sherry has also adjudicated for various competitions in Florida, Arkansas, and Missouri.

Mrs. Sherry is an avid supporter of community theatre and has enjoyed performing in and/or directing various musicals such as “Tussaud,” “Annie Get Your Gun,” “Mame,” “The Taffeta’s,” and “Jekyll & Hyde” to name a few.  These performances have won numerous awards such as Best Musical Direction, Best Sound, and Best Show.   She is active in several community chorus’ including section leader for NYNE Community Chorus, and performing with SING OUT! Tampa and Rocktopia.
